LOXCREEN REMELT CELEBRATES 25 YEARS
Loxcreen’s Remelt facility, located in Hayti, MO celebrates 25 years of producing aluminum extrusion billet. Billets, which are cast in 6 and 7 inch diameter logs, are extruded into profiles for a variety of industries, such as recreational vehicles, storefronts, and building products.
Remelt’s initial capacity was 14 million pounds annually and has now grown to 50 million pounds annually. Since May 1982; the facility has produced 738 million pounds of aluminum extrusion billet in the 6000 alloy series for Loxcreen manufacturing locations in Hayti, MO and Roxboro, NC. In addition to supplying Loxcreen’s requirements, the Remelt converts aluminum scrap into aluminum billets for other manufacturers in the south central US.

LOXCREEN METALSOURCE ADDS CUT-TO-LENGTH LINE
Loxcreen Metalsource, Arlington, TX recently installed a Herr-Voss 60” cut-to-length line at their 40,000 sq. ft. warehouse facility on Great SW Parkway. The enhanced sheet cutting capabilities adds efficiency and value to the service center’s operation by offering an all-in-one service to its customers.
The Arlington operation will also supply cut-to-length service to Loxcreen’s hub-and-spoke operation located in Caruthersville, Missouri. Sheet and coil can now be purchased directly from the mills, then processed and delivered efficiently to the end user throughout the Loxcreen system.

LOXCREEN ACQUIRES RHINO PALLETS
The Loxcreen Company, West Columbia, SC has acquired RHINO Pallets of Detroit Lakes, MN. RHINO’s aluminum pallets are lightweight yet durable and provide better dependability than pallets made of wood. They are repairable and stackable which allows them to work well in the pharmaceutical, food service, automotive and retrieval systems industries.
This acquisition will unite two leaders in the manufacturing of aluminum pallets. LM Containers, a Loxcreen subsidiary located in Caruthersville, Missouri looks forward to serving all RHINO customers and providers. LM Containers already manufactures and sells its own line of aluminum pallets and containers previously acquired from OTD and MagAlum. The joining of these organizations will combine talent and craftsmanship to create a new platform of excellence as a world leader in aluminum pallets.
